Job summary

FINRA is seeking a Principal Analyst in Transparency Services Equities to monitor real-time trade report integrity and data dissemination, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to address emergencies and regulatory needs.

The role requires at least seven years in finance or compliance, advanced data analytics, and strong communication skills to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. Hybrid work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in finance, compliance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in financial services data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with regulation and operation of U.S. broker-dealers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to real-time trade report and data dissemination issues.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to manage emergencies and events.
• Design data collection methods and KPIs to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide executive-level reporting translating metrics into insights.
• Coach junior colleagues and support extended hours for FINRA trading systems.
