Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Project Manager within the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management team to lead global product development strategy for the Surgical business. This role drives cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Operations, and R&D to deliver programs on time and within budget.

You will define scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources; translate customer needs into product requirements; support regulatory strategy and global launch planning; and ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
• 13 years of experience leading or coordinating cross-functional R&D project teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional teams to develop and execute global product development strategies.
• Defines project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Establishes Target Product Profile (TPP) and key value drivers.
• Develops financial models and supports risk analysis.
• Supports regulatory strategy and global launch planning.
• Coordinates intellectual property (IP) strategy execution.
• Applies structured problem-solving in complex environments.
• Develops and maintains resource plans and resolves conflicts to maintain schedules.
• Communicates project interdependencies, risks, and issues clearly.
• Partners with Commercial, Operations, and R&D to ensure project support.
• Maintains data in GPPM systems and delivers timely reports for decision-making.
• Prepares Business Gate Reviews and ensures compliance with SOPs, GMP, and design controls.
