Overview

The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for shaping and executing the organization's quality strategy across six manufacturing facilities. This leadership role ensures that quality assurance processes are proactively managed to maintain operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

As a strategic leader, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to instill a strong quality culture, aligning business objectives with industry standards and regulatory requirements. By leveraging best practices and data-driven insights, this role ensures the company maintains a competitive edge through operational efficiency and superior quality outcomes.


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Quality Strategy & Compliance – Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure full alignment with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards across all six manufacturing facilities.

  • Leadership & Team Development – Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Quality Assurance team, setting clear goals, metrics, and performance expectations to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Product & Process Optimization – Establish a deep understanding of products and processes to proactively analyze and address customer concerns, implementing corrective actions and driving product and process enhancements.

  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Mitigation – Lead company-wide quality initiatives, including customer corrective actions, internal corrective/preventive measures, error-proofing strategies, and scrap reduction, in collaboration with key departments.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making– Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality metrics, trends, and performance insights, providing strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team for informed decision-making.

  • Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement – Foster strong partnerships with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and customer-specific quality standards while proactively addressing industry changes.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Business Administration (Bachelor's degree), Engineering (Bachelor's degree), or Related Field.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in people management. Minimum ten (10) years of experience in quality assurance preferably in a manufacturing envrionment.
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.

Preferreed Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding in quality management systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $150,000 - $190,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
