About your role

Join Juniper Square, a late-stage, hyper-growth fintech company revolutionizing private markets with AI-native technology, as our Director of Quality Assurance (QA). Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will lead the global QA function across North America and India, driving a bold AI-native vision that embeds intelligence, speed, and scalability into every facet of our quality delivery.

In this strategic leadership role, you’ll be the catalyst for modernizing QA to meet the demands of an AI-native future, championing AI-driven testing, scaling intelligent automation, and redefining quality assurance for continuous delivery and data-intensive products. You’ll help Juniper Square set the standard for reliability, speed, and precision in the private markets space.

What you’ll do
  • Drive the evolution of QA at Juniper Square by leveraging AI to boost test intelligence, accelerate velocity, and help revolutionize how we deliver quality at scale.

  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performing QA teams across North America and India, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Own and evolve release management process, improving reliability, coordination, and quality across environments and teams to support faster, safer deployments at scale.

  • Lead the design and execution of a scalable test automation strategy, leveraging AI where appropriate, to maximize coverage across unit, integration, system, and acceptance layers.

  • Oversee performance, load, and reliability testing to validate the platform’s ability to scale with user and data growth in a high-velocity, high-volume environment.

  • Define and track KPIs for software quality and team effectiveness. Provide actionable insights and regular reporting to leadership on product health, release readiness, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Drive the existing defect management process with discipline and accountability, ensuring timely resolution, clear root cause insights, and continuous improvement in product quality.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, DevOps, and Support, and partner closely with Engineering leaders to ensure QA is seamlessly integrated into the software development lifecycle, with clear communication of quality risks and priorities.

  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage QA vendors and tool providers to extend capability, drive efficiency, and support strategic objectives.

  • Manage the QA engineering budget, ensuring strategic use of resources to support team growth, tooling, and innovation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing high-performing global QA teams.

  • Experience testing AI-native applications built on RAG frameworks and agentic AI architectures is required.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive QA strategies and test automation frameworks in a fast-paced, agile SaaS environment (preferably within Fintech).

  • Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, including test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress), performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter), and CI/CD pipelines (GHA, CircleCi).

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

  • Ability to develop and execute a long-term vision for quality that aligns with business objectives.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across diverse teams and geographies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to quality assurance.

  • Experience working with teams in both North America and India is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with the private markets or financial services industry is a plus.

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, bonus, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $250,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
