Job summary

SmartCOP Inc. is seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead our public sector acquisition strategy and build high-performing teams. You will own the enterprise sales cycle, closing multimillion-dollar contracts in CAD, RMS, and JMS, while guiding a multi-disciplinary team toward national growth.

You will partner with executive leaders, drive forecasting accuracy, and maintain a remote-friendly environment with significant travel to client sites and forums across the country.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in B2B or SaaS with revenue targets.
• Proven enterprise sales success closing complex, high-value deals.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and scale diverse sales teams.
• Experience selling to government or regulated industries in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Scale the Engine: Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of sales professionals and technical consultants, fostering a culture of high performance and relentless execution.
• Win the Market: Take full ownership of the New Name sales cycle, from high-level prospecting to closing complex enterprise contracts for CAD, RMS, and JMS solutions.
• Execute Strategy: Transform go-to-market vision into measurable results, focusing on net bookings and lead-to-close conversion rates.
• Lead by Example: Engage in high-value opportunities and cultivate executive relationships with public safety leaders.
• Drive Excellence: Use data-driven forecasting and CRM insights to optimize team performance and visibility to leadership.
