Job summary

MemorialCare Foundation seeks a Director of Prospect Management and Research to establish and execute a strategic vision for prospect identification, research, qualification, and management for MMCF’s major donors in Long Beach, CA. The role leads the development of a donor-centric CRM system and robust research infrastructure to support fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ healthcare prospect research and prospect management experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of fundraising prospect management principles and methods required.
• Demonstrated experience in creative and flexible research skills and ability to analyze, interpret, summarize and present information effectively preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports MMCF and LBMC/MCWH mission and reputation through prospect management excellence.
• Leads creation and utilization of research and prospect management to expand the prospect base and strengthen the pipeline.
• Serves as principal authority on prospect management and philanthropic trends, providing guidance and best practices.
• Develops and executes a comprehensive prospect development plan aligned to fundraising goals.
• Oversees donor-centric prospect management system design and CRM reporting to track metrics and progress.
• Maintains knowledge of MMCF top prospects and donors and identifies engagement strategies.
