Job summary

Memorial Park Conservancy in Houston is seeking a Prospect Development Analyst to identify, analyze, and qualify prospective donors. This role supports donor cultivation and solicitation strategies, manages database insights, and provides confidential, data‑driven recommendations to the Assistant Director of Development Operations.

The position requires at least three years in prospect research or fundraising, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Raiser's Edge NXT and screening tools.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of experience in prospect research, development operations, or fundraising.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify prospects for philanthropic engagement.
• Experience with prospect identification and data mining.
• Ability to read and interpret business, government, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and biographical research and analysis of donors and prospects to identify prospects.
• Identify and qualify new donor prospects for strategic portfolio reviews with frontline fundraisers.
• Verify capacity ratings through financial data analysis.
• Develop tailored cultivation strategies for high‑net‑worth donors and foundations.
• Support donor strategies for major gifts, affinity groups, and campaigns.
• Analyze fundraising pipelines and cultivation success to improve donor retention.
• Synthesize data into concise insights and written products.
• Maintain data hygiene and assist with organization‑wide data management.
