The position is based in Mansfield, MA.

Summary

The Director Projects manages the project team, ensuring all projects meet customer expectations and sales goals. Responsibilities include developing processes and strategies, ensuring operational compliance, managing relationships with customers and vendors, and overseeing project execution. Manages multiple projects or a large project group.

What You’ll Do

1. Implement and execute project team processes, strategies, and goals, ensuring they are met.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and key clients.
3. Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
4. Provide leadership, motivation, training, and foster teamwork within the project team.
5. Monitor project progress to meet budgets and deadlines.
6. Coordinate sales, quotes, bids, project requests, and documentation.
7. Analyze project phases and milestones, providing recommendations to clients.
8. Collaborate with the credit department to increase customer credit lines.
9. Introduce new products/services to enhance client business usage.
10. Work with branch staff and vendors to identify potential stocking items.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project management or customer service experience.
• Management experience required.
• Outside sales and electrical distribution experience preferred.

• Effective communication skills.
