Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Program Management Software Features to lead a remote team in the Energy & Utilities sector, guiding a portfolio of software programs through disciplined execution, risk management, and cross-functional coordination in a hybrid Agile/stage-gate environment.

You will partner with Product Management and senior leadership, coach program managers, and drive visibility, alignment, and proactive risk mitigation across initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software program management experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional programs across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of program managers, setting clear expectations and standards.
• Own execution health across a portfolio of software programs, managing scope and risks.
• Evolve program management processes for a hybrid Agile/stage-gate environment.
• Partner with Product Management to create structured execution plans.

• Provide visibility into program status and key milestones for leadership.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Program Management Software Features to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This leader will oversee a portfolio of software programs that support the business through disciplined execution, risk management, and clear cross-functional coordination. The role is focused on building strong program management practices in a hybrid Agile/stage-gate environment while partnering closely with Product Management and senior leadership. You will also guide a team of program managers to improve visibility, alignment, and delivery across multiple initiatives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $210,000 – $240,000 annually
