Ladders is seeking a Director of Product Design to shape strategy and user experience across the full lifecycle for an Enterprise Technology leader. The role balances hands-on design with team leadership and client-facing communication.

You will mentor designers, guide projects, collaborate with Strategy and Development, and translate business needs into thoughtful design solutions. The remote position offers flexible work arrangements and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of product design experience in agency or related environments.
• Proven design leadership across the entire product design lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with senior clients and executives.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Product Design to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape product design strategy and user experience across the full lifecycle, from early concept through development handoff. You will balance hands-on design contribution with team leadership, guiding projects, aligning with cross-functional partners, and helping translate business needs into thoughtful solutions. The position also calls for strong client-facing communication, mentorship of designers, and the ability to adapt to both rapid optimizations and longer-term vision work.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $190,000 – $220,000 annually
