Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Product Design to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This leader will shape the product design vision for a platform that connects job seekers and employers, with a strong focus on creating intuitive, high-impact user experiences. The role will drive design strategy across key product areas while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Decision Science leaders to influence roadmap priorities and business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong customer lens, proven team leadership, and the ability to introduce modern AI-enabled design practices that improve how the organization works and delivers value.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $240,000 – $310,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Champion user experience by deeply understanding user workflows and advocating for effective design solutions.
• Take personal ownership of key areas to enhance user engagement between job seekers and employers.
• Lead and develop the Product Design team, setting clear expectations and success metrics.
• Pioneer the integration of AI in Product Design, establishing standards for its use in product development.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Decision Science leaders to align design strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Product Design, including 5+ years in people management.
• Strong customer orientation with a history of using user insights to drive product decisions.
• Proven track record of initiative and influence leading to positive outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills for structuring and solving complex problems.
• Fluency with modern AI and design tools, integrating them into workflows.
