Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of User Experience Design to shape end-to-end UX strategy across consumer, employee, web, app, and in-store touchpoints. This leader will elevate UX quality while driving measurable improvements in conversion and retention, and guide AI integration into digital experiences.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team through rapid ideation, prototyping, and reviews, with a practical business lens and strong design vision to impact global retail outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a design-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in UX or product design with global e-commerce focus.
• 5 years of people management experience.
• Experience with AI prototyping and coding tools across web, app, and in-store.
• Strong storytelling with a portfolio showing leadership and business impact.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, User Experience Design to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will shape the end-to-end user experience strategy across consumer, employee, web, app, and in-store touchpoints. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design vision, a practical business lens, and the ability to elevate UX quality while driving measurable improvements in conversion and retention. You will also help integrate AI into digital experiences and guide a multidisciplinary team through rapid ideation, prototyping, and review cycles.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $148,600 – $245,400 annually
