Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director of Procurement Excellence to lead the design and rollout of an AI-native Change Management Center of Excellence. You will develop change strategies, prioritize initiatives by risk and impact, and drive adoption across global procurement teams.

Partner with senior leaders to define procurement strategy, build governance and reporting, and translate innovative ideas into business value through special projects, leveraging AI tools such as Claude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, or related field.
• 10+ years in change management, transformation, or strategic communication.
• 5+ years in leadership roles with governance and PMO experience.

Role: Director of Procurement Excellence leads the design and implementation of an AI-native Change Management Center of Excellence (CM CoE) to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of strategic procurement initiatives at Bristol Myers Squibb. Responsibilities include developing change strategies, prioritizing initiatives based on risk and impact, overseeing governance and reporting practices, and building global team capabilities with AI tools like Claude. The role also involves partnering with senior leadership to define procurement strategy, facilitating leadership alignment forums, and translating innovative ideas into tangible business value through special projects. The position requires establishing governance frameworks, KPIs, and risk management practices across procurement portfolios, with continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

minimum bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, or related field; 10+ years in change management, transformation, or strategic communication; at least 5 years in leadership roles, with experience developing governance and PMO capabilities.

Preferred skills

change management certification (e.g., Prosci), project management certification (e.g., PMP), executive presence, and experience working with AI tools.
