AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Category Management to design global procurement strategies for AI, Emerging Technologies, and related services. You will partner with VP-level stakeholders to drive savings, governance, and risk mitigation across complex contracts.

The role demands deep software sourcing expertise, capability-building, and hands-on negotiation leadership to deliver value while aligning with governance and ESG objectives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt, Technology or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, or tech consulting with leadership of category teams.
• Proven negotiation leadership for large, complex AI and tech contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop global software, AI, and emerging technology procurement strategies with governance alignment.
• Lead complex programs from strategy through implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Build and deploy procurement playbooks, templates, and training for the organization.
• Drive end-to-end sourcing, including licensing, pricing, renewals, and vendor evaluations.
• Negotiate high-value contracts in partnership with Legal, IT, and risk functions.
• Integrate ESG, compliance, and risk considerations into category strategies.
