Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director for Private Equity Performance Improvement – CFO Services, Finance Transformation, to lead complex engagements and enhance finance operating models for portfolio companies. You will work with CFOs and leadership to design, implement, and optimize finance structures and reporting, delivering measurable value.

The role requires 9–11+ years in finance transformation consulting or industry, deep R2R/O2C/P2P/FP&A knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Treasury, FP&A).
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, roadmaps, and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams to improve finance function performance and drive cost efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models and organizational structures.
• Lead initiatives involving process optimization, automation, digitization, and close improvement.
• Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Manage GBS, Shared Services, and BPO strategies, design, and optimization.
• Deliver high-quality client deliverables and align with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee engagement execution, quality, timelines, and cross-workstream coordination.
