Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Director of Portfolio Management for Power & Utilities to co-manage a $4.5 billion book. You will work with Relationship Management and other partners to deepen client relationships and identify and mitigate credit risks.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, formalized credit training, and 7+ years in portfolio management, with preferred 10 years in banking and at least 3 years in P&U, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of portfolio management experience.
• 10 years of diversified banking experience including portfolio management with at least 3 years in Power & Utilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and close broadly syndicated, complex commercial loans
• Provide credit recommendations to the appropriate level of credit administration
• Review loan documentation in consultation with legal counsel
• Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions
• Manage annual reviews and renewals, portfolio reviews, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, delinquencies and other reporting
• Assist in optimizing customer relationships working with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, Capital Markets and other team members
