Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Director, Portfolio Management for its Power & Utilities space within the Corporate Specialty and Government Banking group. You will co-manage a $4.5B book and collaborate with Relationship Management to deepen client portfolios while mitigating risk.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, formal credit training, and 7+ years in portfolio management, with preferred Power & Utilities experience and strong underwriting and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of related portfolio management experience.
• Completion of formalized credit training program.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and close broadly syndicated, complex commercial loans.
• Provide credit recommendations to the appropriate level of credit administration.
• Review loan documentation in consultation with legal counsel.
• Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.
• Manage annual reviews and renewals, portfolio reviews, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, delinquencies and other reporting.
• Assist in optimizing customer relationships working with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, Capital Markets and other team members.
