Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager - Power & Utilities to co-manage a growing $4.5 billion book within the Corporate Specialty and Government Banking group. You will identify opportunities and mitigate risks while coordinating with Relationship Management and internal partners.

The role emphasizes underwriting, credit recommendations, and ongoing risk surveillance in the Power & Utilities space, with a flexible work arrangement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Completion of formalized credit training program.
• 7+ years of related portfolio management experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and close broadly syndicated, complex commercial loans.
• Provide credit recommendations to the appropriate level of credit administration.
• Review loan documentation in consultation with legal counsel.
• Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.
• Manage annual reviews and renewals, portfolio reviews, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, delinquencies and other reporting.
• Assist in optimizing customer relationships working with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, Capital Markets and other team members.
