Job summary

Credit Acceptance seeks a senior Platform Services leader to guide strategy, team growth and day-to-day management of platform services across engineering teams. You will shape AI-assisted development practices, standards, and reference templates to accelerate delivery and ensure secure, scalable operational excellence.

You will own environments, partner with delivery pipelines and cloud platforms, and report on engineering productivity and platform adoption while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or engineering/technical field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in highly technical software engineering/architecture roles
• 5+ years of supervisory, consultant or team lead experience
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development at scale including governance and guardrails
• History of owning services in production with SLOs and on-call rotations
• Proven ability to consolidate capabilities into a single platform
• Strong communication with C-level leaders across an organization

Responsibilities

• Provide strategy, leadership and day-to-day management of the Platform Services organization
• Lead development of integrated platform services for credit acceptance engineers
• Define approach to AI-assisted development and related guardrails
• Deliver golden path templates, scaffolds and reference implementations
• Own development environments, build/test performance and provisioning
• Ensure availability, performance and support model of shared services
• Grow platform adoption and align with business objectives
• Recruit and develop engineering leaders for Platform Services
• Mentor team, manage performance and drive execution
