Job summary

Stellarus seeks a Director of Platform Engineering and Tools to lead a high-performing engineering organization. You will partner with Application, Data, and AI teams to establish a robust technical foundation that accelerates product delivery, integrating CI/CD and GitOps practices.

You will mentor leaders, manage multiple teams across disciplines, and influence senior stakeholders while navigating a hybrid workplace model requiring in-office presence two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• 10+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, or platform.
• 6+ years of people management with direct reports.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering through DevSecOps and cloud transformation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Application, Data, and AI teams to establish a technical foundation that accelerates product delivery.
• Lead engineering organizations through DevSecOps and cloud transformation with hands-on CI/CD and GitOps.
• Translate technical strategy into business value for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor leaders, building high-performing, diverse teams across disciplines.
