Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Director of Platform Engineering and Tools to lead the Commercial team's technical foundation, partnering with Application, Data, and AI groups to accelerate product delivery. This role is central to enabling rapid, secure software delivery and high-performing teams.

The role emphasizes building and growing leaders, driving DevSecOps maturity, and aligning technology with business value for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, MIS, or equivalent with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• 10 years prior relevant experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or platform.
• 6 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Experience leading DevSecOps and cloud transformation with CI/CD tooling, GitOps, and modern release practices.
• Strong cloud platform knowledge, multi-cluster/multi-tenant security.
• Ability to translate technical strategy into business value for senior leadership.
• Preferred Master's degree in CS/IT/MIS.
• Preferred 6 years leading multiple teams across diverse disciplines.
