Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Director of Platform Engineering and Tools to lead the Commercial tech platform and partner with Application, Data, and AI teams to accelerate product delivery.

You will drive DevSecOps, cloud transformation, and multi-cluster security while building and mentoring high-performing teams. This hybrid role emphasizes strategic alignment with senior leadership and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, or 4 years additional relevant experience
• 10 years prior relevant experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or platform
• 6 years of prior people management experience with direct reports
• DevSecOps and cloud transformation leadership with hands-on CI/CD tooling and GitOps
• Strong cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation
• Track record translating technical strategy into business value for senior leadership
• Preferred Master's degree in computer science, IT, MIS
• Preferred 6 years leading technical teams across diverse disciplines

Responsibilities

• Partner with Application, Data, and AI teams to establish a technical foundation that accelerates delivery of products
• Lead and grow high-performing Platform Engineering and Tools teams in a hybrid environment
• Drive DevSecOps practices and cloud transformation across multi-cluster, multi-tenant environments
• Influence cross-functionally and align technical strategy with business value
