Job summary

Stellarus, a leading Healthcare tech company, seeks a Director of Platform Engineering and Tools to accelerate product delivery through a strong technical foundation. You will partner with Application, Data, and AI teams and lead multi-disciplinary engineers in a hybrid, in-office model.

Strong experience in DevSecOps, cloud platforms, and scalable infrastructure is essential. You will translate complex tech strategies into business value for senior leadership and build high-performing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, MIS, or equivalent with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
10 years of software engineering, infrastructure, or platform experience.
6 years of people management with direct reports.
Proven success leading DevSecOps and cloud transformations with CI/CD tooling and GitOps.
Strong cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), infra automation, and multi-cluster security.
Ability to translate technical strategy into business value for senior leadership.
Preferred Master's degree in CS/IT/MIS.
Preferred 6 years leading technical teams across diverse disciplines.

Responsibilities

Partner with Application, Data, and AI teams to establish a technical foundation that accelerates product delivery.
Lead engineering organizations through DevSecOps and cloud transformations, including hands-on tooling.
Influence cross-functionally to align technical strategy with business goals and senior leadership.
Balance in-office collaboration with our hybrid workplace model, ensuring effective leadership and delivery.
