Job summary

Neko Health AB is seeking a Director of Software Engineering (Platform) to lead the design, scaling, and reliability of the core infrastructure underpinning health and member data across clinics and internal systems.

The role focuses on delivering an AI-first platform with resilience and regional scale, enabling rapid growth and operational excellence across teams. You will shape long-term platform strategy in collaboration with Product and Data, guiding a 10–15 engineer platform team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling large-scale infrastructure systems.
• Experience leading managers and scaling to multi-team structures.
• Experience using AI tooling platforms (Claude Code).
• Experience building infrastructure as a platform (PaaS mindset) or SRE-level systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish a scalable, secure infrastructure platform on Azure.
• Enable significantly faster product deployment cycles through platform improvements.
• Increase system reliability and reduce operational incidents affecting clinics.
• Build and scale a high-performance platform engineering team (10-15 engineers initially).
• Define long-term platform strategy in close partnership with Product and Data.
