Amigo seeks a Head of Engineering in New York City to own the platform across application, backend, infrastructure, and data. You will lead a growing team, set technical direction, and partner with the CTO to translate customer needs into scalable systems.

You’ll influence how we hire, what we build, and how we measure success in a healthcare AI context, balancing speed with clinical reliability.

Qualifications

• Track record of engineering leadership in high-skill teams.
• Ability to translate customer needs into platform requirements.
• Experience shaping technical strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering across app, backend, infra and data platforms.
• Hire engineers and develop future leaders.
• Drive end-to-end execution from problem to deployment.
• Guide system design and architectural tradeoffs.
• Set engineering culture, code review, and release discipline.
• Partner with product, AI, and customer teams on priorities.
• Ensure reliability, security, and privacy in patient data.
