Job summary

Atria Health Institute seeks a Director of Engineering to lead Foundations—the Platform, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams that underpin the entire engineering organization. You will own the technical strategy, roadmap, reliability, security, and delivery across these shared services and data systems.

This role directly manages a 12-member Foundations team, including 3 Tech Leads, and partners with Product, Data & Analytics, security, and executive stakeholders to accelerate delivery and scale

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership of engineering teams.
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams across platform, infrastructure, or data domains.
• Strong systems-thinking with architecture review experience.
• Experience shaping reliable, secure, scalable cloud infrastructures.
• Active use of AI tools to improve engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own health, direction, and output of Foundations group.
• Maintain end-to-end accountability for multi-team initiatives.
• Drive reliability, security, and operational health with SLOs and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, Data & Analytics, security, and execs.
• Champion observability and post-incident review improvements.
• Establish engineering standards and mentoring across teams.
