Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration. A Master's degree in Business, Healthcare, Public Health Administration is preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of contracting, negotiations, and health plan portfolio management experience in specialty medicine, private equity, or health care contracting.
• Deep experience in understanding healthcare field and payers/providers relationships and analytics-driven incentives.
• Experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment; private equity or start-up experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess macro trends and market nuances to craft opportunities and pitches for rates and incentives.
• Review health plan agreements and fee schedules to craft integration strategies.
• Represent Retina Consultants of America in national negotiations to meet rates and value-based care goals.
• Maintain contract management platform with all agreements and fee schedules.
• Work with FP&A to verify financial impact and develop budgets for future years.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor market trends and improve underperforming contracts.
• Prepare reporting and analytics to justify recommendations for internal and external use.
