Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of contracting, negotiations, and health plan portfolio management in specialty medicine.
• Deep experience understanding healthcare payer-provider dynamics and analytics-driven incentives.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments; private equity or startup experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess macro trends and market nuance to craft rate and incentive pitches.
• Review health plan agreements and fee schedules for integration strategies.
• Represent Retina Consultants of America in national managed care negotiations.
• Maintain contract management platform with all agreements and fee schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor market trends and improve under- performing contracts.
• Prepare reporting and analytics to justify recommendations.
