Job summary

Openkrill, a fintech platform, seeks a Director of Product to own money movement infrastructure and identity. You will partner with the CTO, lead several engineering leads, and shape strategy, execution, and business outcomes across ramps and identity areas.

You will drive product strategy, architecture decisions, provider negotiations, and data-driven improvements across payments rails and identity services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience owning business and product outcomes, not just backlogs.
• Direct experience leading engineers or engineering leads.
• Track record shipping complex technical products with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of blockchain and crypto payments ecosystems.
• Experience with crypto on/off-ramps and banking integrations.
• Experience with Ethereum-based products and wallets/exchanges.
• Experience with KYC, KYB, identity verification, or related compliance products.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and money movement concepts.
• Ability to communicate credibly with engineers, executives, customers, banks, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, sequencing, and execution across ramps and identity areas.
• Lead multiple engineering leads and ensure delivery, quality, and business outcomes.
• Mentor product and engineering leaders and maintain alignment across areas.
• Write clear product specifications and decision records for engineering to execute.
• Trade off customer experience, regulatory requirements, speed, cost, and reliability.
• Partner with engineering, compliance, finance, operations, support, and providers.
• Represent the client in provider discussions, reviews, and enterprise diligence.
• Own end-to-end money movement experiences across various rails and cryptos.
• Define provider strategy, negotiate with partners, and optimize unit economics.
