Job summary

University Health is seeking a Director to oversee the process and day-to-day management of admissions and patient registration locations at University Hospital and offsite Health System locations. The role requires expert knowledge of insurance/payer options and a patient-centered approach, aligned with the University Health Commitment to Service Excellence.

Responsibilities include leading admissions operations, ensuring efficient ADT-related workflows, and promoting strong customer relations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or health care management or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of insurance and third party payer options and benefits.
• Four years supervisory experience in health care/hospital setting is required.
• Experience with payor plans, policies, regulations and prior authorization/financial clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions and patient registration locations and day-to-day operations.
• Support the strategic vision of the organization and promote service excellence.
• Uphold University Health customer relations policies in all encounters.
