Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

• Rhode Island RN licensure required; perioperative certifications desirable (CNOR).
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; CSPDT or CST trauma certifications desirable.

• Lead and manage daily operations of OR, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing Services.
• Develop staffing plans and recruit to align with patient care needs.
• Update competencies for OR, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing Services staff.
• Monitor and improve staff performance and retention; provide professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical schedules and workflow.
• Drive quality and safety initiatives; ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation for departments.
• Promote system-wide standardization of workflows and cross-hospital collaboration.
