Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field such as healthcare administration or its equivalent.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term goals for surgical inpatient services and nursing informatics.
• Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor budgets for the academic medical center's critical care service.
• Collaborate with leaders to plan, design, and implement patient-focused, coordinated care and information systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support continuous quality improvement.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate managerial, professional, and support staff.
