Job summary

Oscar Health, based in New York, seeks a Director of Business Operations & Strategy to lead the long-term operational roadmap and tackle organizational challenges with rigor. The role acts as a bridge between leadership and the business, focusing on process optimization for provider operations and experience.

You will report to the SVP, Provider Operations and Experience, with a hybrid NYC-based schedule (3 in-office days).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, or project management.
• 4+ years of managing a team.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives in a healthcare organization.
• Management consulting experience.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and ability to synthesize information into action.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end operational excellence with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead large cross-functional work groups to optimize end-to-end program processes.
• Standardize and operationalize provider operations programs with SME input.
• Develop and maintain executive reporting for senior leadership on programs and contracting initiatives.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve provider operations programs.
• Stay aligned with external industry trends and benchmarking to drive iterative solutions.
