Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Head of Provider Network Development in New York, leading strategic provider sourcing to expand the payer network and improve access. You will collaborate with Network Contracting, Strategy, and Market Leadership to build a compliant, profitable network.

The role reports to the Senior VP, Network & Provider Management and requires a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week. Base pay ranges from $198,720 to $260,820, with benefits and equity included.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare industry.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in provider network development or related areas.
• Experience engaging and contracting with community health centers, FQHCs, and independent provider groups.
• Understanding CMS and state-level network adequacy requirements and access-to-care standards.
• Experience managing multi-departmental workflows across contracting, legal, operations, and market leadership teams.
• Experience using network management platforms (e.g., Quest Analytics) and CRM tools to drive recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities

• Architect and complete targeted network expansion strategies, leading end-to-end recruitment plans for non-anchor practitioners, medical groups, and ECPs/FQHCs.
• Monitor regional provider density and access metrics to prioritize gaps and meet adequacy standards.
• Partner with Network Contracting, Network Strategy, and Market Leadership to align recruitment targets with regulatory needs and growth plans.
• Track and lead recruitment pipeline velocity and team productivity.
• Use network design analytics to monitor recruitment throughput and address coverage gaps.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of network development professionals.
