Job summary

Mastercard in New York is seeking a strategic Director of Product Management to lead a high-priority Open Finance and AI/ML risk platform. You will shape portfolio strategy, guide 0–1 concepts through launch, and scale complex payments solutions across engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams.

Qualifications

• Solid product management experience leading product managers or multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience launching and scaling cloud-based or API-enabled products in payments or fintech.
• Strong AI/ML product development knowledge and collaboration with data science teams.
• Ability to navigate APIs, payment flows, risk decisioning, and platform dependencies.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute portfolio strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities across the portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers with clear ownership and rhythm.
• Guide 0–1 concept development through iterative delivery, launch, and scale.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to develop predictive risk models and fraud controls.
• Engage financial institutions, fintechs, merchants to validate value propositions.
• Develop product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans for adoption and growth.
• Communicate vision to executives and align cross-functional teams for execution.
• Establish success metrics and optimize product and model performance.
