Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in AI policy, governance or regulation.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into policy terms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for policy documents.
• Experience working with regulators and policymakers.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams in a global company.
• Proven track record influencing policy across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing development of AI Policy positions and core narratives around Mastercard's deployment and use of AI.
• Build subject matter expertise on AI policy issues, standards and developments for government affairs teams.
• Explain and disseminate AI policy positions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Embed with Services business units deploying AI to understand business objectives.
• Convert AI objectives into policy narratives for advocacy.
• Digest complex legislative, regulatory and industry developments impacting AI Services policy.
• Develop materials such as briefs, decks and memos for leadership.
• Engage with international and regional AI standards bodies affecting Mastercard.
