Job summary

Mastercard seeks a strategic Director of Product Management to lead a team delivering high-priority Open Finance and AI/ML-powered payment risk solutions. You will shape portfolio strategy, translate market needs into differentiated products, and guide the full lifecycle from 0-1 to scale.

You will collaborate across engineering, data science, design, operations, and GTM teams, defining roadmaps, pricing, and go-to-market plans to drive growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Solid product management experience, including leading product managers or multidisciplinary product teams.
• Demonstrated success defining strategy and launching and scaling cloud-based or API-enabled products, preferably in payments, fintech, open banking, fraud, or risk.
• Experience taking products from 0-1 while also managing established products with revenue, customer, reliability, and performance commitments.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML product development and experience partnering with Data Science teams to translate model capabilities into customer value.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities across the portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers with clear ownership and operating rhythms.
• Guide products from concept development through delivery, launch, and scale with engineering, data science, design, and GTM teams.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to develop and scale predictive payment risk models and fraud management capabilities.
• Engage with financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and partners to validate value propositions and translate insights into the roadmap.
• Develop product positioning, pricing, business cases, and go-to-market plans.
