Job summary

University of New England is seeking a Director of Graduate Programs in Education and Assistant Teaching Professor to lead online graduate, certificate, and continuing education offerings. The role oversees the Ed.D. program, guides strategic enrollment planning, and partners with research and compliance offices to ensure policy adherence and program quality.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. required, with extensive program leadership experience.
• Teaching certification and doctoral research/advising experience are highly desirable.
• Experience using data to inform strategic planning and program improvement.
• Experience with online and technology-enabled education is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to collaborate across college, university, and external partners.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic priorities for the education portfolio aligned with CPS plan and enrollment goals.
• Forecast enrollment and revenue for the education portfolio with CPS leadership.
• Provide program-level data analysis for budgeting and financial reconciliation.
• Directly supervise faculty and staff to support student success and satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives for course development, online programs, and learning products.
• Oversee program reviews and accreditation processes to ensure quality.
• Develop and evaluate graduate, certificate, and continuing education offerings.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, student-centered culture within the program.
