Stripe’s Workplace Experience team seeks a strategic leader to ensure the New York office runs smoothly. You will oversee workplace operations, facilities, events support, health and safety, and partner with site leads and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional workplace.

This in-office role emphasizes governance of contractor performance, financial accountability, and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workplace operations at your site(s), providing direction on all workplace services, including building operations, front of house, shipping and receiving, events support, and employee health and safety.
• Make sound, independent operational decisions by balancing business impact, risk, cost, and employee experience, seeking alignment when decisions create broader organizational impact or precedent.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of workplace services professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to drive team excellence and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop a strong rapport with locally assigned Stripes.
• Own operational performance for your site by monitoring service levels and utilization, identifying trends, resolving root causes, and driving continuous improvement across workplace operations.
• Proactively anticipate business needs by understanding both local context and company priorities.

• Hold workplace partners and service providers accountable for performance, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and operational standards are consistently achieved while driving continuous improvement.
• Work closely with our Finance & Strategy partner and IFM partner to develop and oversee the opex budget for all facilities, opex, fixed assets, and events of the NYC office
