Job summary

Bitly is seeking a Director, Website Strategy to own and scale the company’s two main websites, driving non-paid growth and signups for a globally recognized brand. You will lead an AI-forward approach, scale programs across SEO/AEO, CRO, and content with a lean team, while reporting outcomes to executives.

You will partner with brand and marketing, own KPIs, and drive adoption of AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience developing and executing website strategy and digital marketing with measurable growth.
• Strong understanding of website analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
• Track record of driving traffic, user experience, and signup optimization in a Product-Led environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable operating in a remote-working environment and leading strategy autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and scale Bitly's website strategy across all brands to drive non-paid growth and signups.
• Own non-paid acquisition channels and top-of-funnel quality that converts to revenue.
• Scope org design and KPIs for non-paid growth; lead website development, CRO, and AEO teams.
• Collaborate with brand, content, and marketing to align website with growth goals and brand vision.
• Lead SEO and AEO across product pages, blog, and help center for AI-powered search visibility.
• Drive adoption of AI-first content tools and programmatic content production.
• Integrate AI-driven analytics and anomaly detection into reporting workflows.
• Produce regular reporting for executives and stakeholders on channel performance and ROI.
