Job summary

The Salvation Army in FLA-Divisional HQ – Lutz, FL is seeking a Volunteer Engagement Manager to lead a comprehensive volunteer program across the division. You will develop onboarding, training, retention, and recognition strategies and partner with community organizations to expand impact.

Responsibilities include administering the Golden system, coordinating with local coordinators, and supporting fundraising campaigns such as Angel Tree and Red Kettle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, public relations, marketing, human services, social work, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in volunteer engagement or nonprofit administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer Golden system—configuration, troubleshooting, reporting and training; audit volunteer opportunities and onboarding workflows.
• Implement divisional volunteer engagement strategies aligned with priorities.
• Monitor volunteer participation, retention, and satisfaction; provide orientation and ongoing support.
