Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Fargo Corps is seeking a Community Relations and Volunteer Coordinator to build relationships, engage volunteers, coordinate communications, and lead the annual Red Kettle Campaign locally.

This role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, collaboration with leaders, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while upholding Salvation Army branding and mission.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, public relations, business, human services, or related field.
• Two years of related experience in community engagement or volunteer coordination preferred.
• Experience building community partnerships and working with volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, schedule, train, recognize, and support volunteers for year-round programs and events.
• Lead local implementation of the Red Kettle Campaign and related operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, churches, and local businesses.
• Coordinate Corps communications and social media to promote programs and events.
