Job summary

Mastro’s Restaurants in Miami is seeking a Director of Events to drive private dining and corporate event sales, cultivating relationships with clients and hotels. You will manage all aspects of private event planning and work with operations to ensure flawless execution and unforgettable guest experiences.

The role requires at least 3 years of upscale dining or hotel sales, expert contract and menu coordination, and the ability to lead a sales pipeline to meet monthly and annual targets.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of sales experience in upscale/fine dining or hotel operations.
• Ability to write business correspondence and set up contracts and function sheets.
• Ability to present promotional materials to prospective customers and coordinate with catering, kitchen staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales over prior year for one or more restaurants.
• Identify and secure new corporate and social event clients through prospecting and networking.
• Conduct venue tours and negotiate contracts to meet monthly and annual revenue goals.
• Manage a sales pipeline of inquiries, prospects, and definite bookings.
• With the Director of Sales & Events, plan, develop and implement a comprehensive sales action plan, goals and initiatives.
