Old Republic Commercial Risk seeks a Referral Underwriter to develop and oversee our PMA lines of coverage including WC, General Liability, Commercial Automobile, Property, and Umbrella. The role involves pricing strategy, risk appetite, and handling referrals beyond Regional Manager authority.

The position requires strong underwriting fundamentals, effective communication, and travel to branch locations for risk assessment and negotiations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• CPCU or risk management designation preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and oversee multi-line underwriting strategies (WC, GL, Auto, Property, Umbrella).
• Handle referrals exceeding Regional Underwriting Manager authority.
• Lead facultative reinsurance placements and ensure proper documentation and administration.
• Review branch performance and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with QA and branch underwriting.
• Provide technical sales support for loss sensitive products and monitor portfolio profitability.
