Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Integrated Experience Platform within Asset Management Technology Foundations. You will drive strategy, execution, and evolution of web and desktop UI foundations, design systems, and shared component libraries across Asset Management.

You will balance people management with hands-on engineering craftsmanship, shaping technical direction and enforcing high standards in design, code, and platform quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading enterprise integrated experience platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with emphasis on engineering depth and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical decision‑making.
• Champion engineering excellence and best practices across teams.
• Lead platform modernization and adoption of cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, UX to align on strategy and execution.
