Job summary

loanDepot is seeking a senior leader to define, operationalize, and scale the enterprise Data & AI Governance framework. You will partner across Data, Engineering, Security, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and business stakeholders to embed governance into workflows and products, enabling innovation with trust and regulatory readiness.

The role requires 10+ years in data governance and 5+ years in senior leadership, with deep expertise in data classification, metadata, lineage, and AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar field.
• Minimum of ten+ years in data governance, data management, AI governance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of five+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise Data & AI Governance strategy, operating model, policies, standards, and decision-rights framework.
• Establish scalable governance spanning business governance and technical governance.
• Translate regulatory, security, privacy, and risk requirements into practical governance controls and workflows.
• Chair governance forums reviewing material risks, policy exceptions, and remediation priorities.
• Own data governance policies, data classification, and access controls across lifecycle.
