Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Director of Data Trust to lead the Data Trust & Data Governance team. You will define trusted data, establish standards, policies and accountability models across the enterprise to enable reliable data for business, analytics, regulatory and AI use.

You will partner with Data Governance Operations, Data Platform Engineering, and Risk teams to drive responsible data across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in data governance, data management or enterprise data strategy.
• Ability to translate complex data challenges into scalable enterprise standards.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise vision for trusted data with standards and accountability frameworks.
• Drive adoption of data ownership and stewardship practices across the org.
• Shape discovery, understanding and reuse of data via metadata, catalog, glossary and semantic standards.
• Create measurable trust in data through quality, certification, lineage and trust scoring.
• Enable scalable, AI-ready data capabilities with governance standards and reusable data products.
