• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
• Experience leading large-scale inbound and outbound transportation operations.
• Experience managing transportation budgets and cost control.
• Expertise with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and transportation analytics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation strategies that improve service, efficiency, and profitability.
• Lead inbound and outbound transportation operations, drivers, dispatch, and fleet maintenance.
• Oversee transportation budgets, freight spend, fuel usage, and operational costs.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and transportation partners.
• Ensure DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze KPIs and transportation data to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and leadership to support company objectives.
• Evaluate new technology and systems to improve transportation performance.
