Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or a related field preferred.
• Five+ years in logistics/transportation or related roles preferred.
• Three+ years of leadership and people management experience required.
• Experience across multiple facilities or locations strongly preferred.
• Experience with company-owned or third-party fleets and transportation providers preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or similar TMS required.
• International logistics experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and carrier compliance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management skills.
• Advanced Excel and data tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes transportation and logistics strategy across manufacturing and distribution locations.
• Leads inbound, outbound, intercompany, customer, and international transportation activities.
• Optimizes routes, modes, capacity, and total delivered cost to meet service and cost targets.
• Establishes policies, routing guides, service standards, and operating expectations.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to align transportation with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Manages carrier qualification, performance reviews, and contingency plans.
• Oversees international shipments, freight forwarders, brokers, and regulatory compliance.
• Leads staffing, training, and supervision of logistics personnel and shifts.
• Drives analytics and reporting to improve routing, load optimization, and cost management.
