Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. seeks a Director of Transportation & Supply Chain Engineering to lead enterprise transportation strategy, carrier sourcing, and procurement.

You will guide budget performance, capacity planning, and analytics to deliver service improvements and cost savings across the supply chain. As the senior leader on the Supply Chain Leadership Team, you will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable service during peak

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in logistics or business required.
• 10+ years of related experience; 5+ years in management.
• Experience with large-scale transportation networks and pricing.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience required.
• Strong Excel/Access and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• MBA or Masters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise transportation and carrier strategies.
• Manage transportation spend and budget to hit AOP goals.
• Lead transportation procurement events, bids, and negotiations.
• Establish carrier scorecards and performance reviews.
• Oversee capacity planning with carriers and 3PLs.
• Drive transportation analytics and continuous improvement.
